David N Camp is a 4th generation Texan with an expansive knowledge and enthusiasm for the outdoors. His understanding of nature is demonstrated throughout his work as a Texas Hill Country plein air artist. David began his first work in 1994; studies and workshops have created a particular self-developed style where his intentional brush stroke and composition achieve an impressionistic touch to a refreshing Hill Country view.
David’s art career has successfully included gallery work, juried art shows, a three-man show & several one-man shows. David’s passion for the land, and his unique approach through the contemplative communication of his brush clearly proclaims a place of return, time and time again. Each purchase creates a lasting memory of the rare and uncommon beauty of the Texas Hill Country.
David is a member of Oil Painters of America and Outdoor Painters Society.
